• Student Authentication & Contact: Full name, student email address, mobile/WhatsApp number, encrypted authentication tokens, and password reset credentials.
• Academic Profile Details: VTU University Seat Number (USN), affiliated/autonomous college, engineering branch, current semester, syllabus scheme (e.g., 2022, 2024 Scheme), state, and city.
• CGPA & Academic Records: Self-reported CGPA values or academic transcripts and USNs submitted via our CGPA Calculation Request services.
• Program Registrations & Mentorship Inquiries: Entries submitted through 1-on-1 Career Mentorship consultations, Final/Mini Project guidance requests, Live Workshop seat reservations, and newsletter subscription forms.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your records are processed strictly to deliver educational enablement tools and student career support:

• Delivering branch-tailored and module-wise VTU study notes (M1–M5), model question papers, and lab manuals.
• Calculating and syncing verified CGPA scores to your dashboard.
• Dispatching free workshop entry confirmation alerts, meeting room links, and session reminders via WhatsApp and email.
• Assigning qualified mentors for major and mini-project code, IEEE papers, and viva prep.
• Facilitating verified internship discovery and campus placement preparation pathways.

3. Data Storage & Database Security

Student data is managed through a secured Supabase PostgreSQL database architecture utilizing Row Level Security (RLS) policies, TLS encryption in transit, and role-based access controls. Authenticated sessions are safeguarded with token authentication, idle timeout guards (15-minute auto-logout), and strict client-side validation.

4. Information Sharing & Third Parties

We never sell, rent, or monetize student personal records to third-party marketing companies. Data is shared only with vetted infrastructure partners essential for operating the platform:

• Cloud Database & Auth: Supabase (hosted data and session verification).
• Communications: Official WhatsApp Business API / direct student community channels for session link broadcasts and alerts.

5. Storage Tokens & Local Cache

FutureWell does not employ invasive advertising tracking cookies. We utilize browser sessionStorage and localStorage strictly for:

• Preserving student login state (fw_user_session and fw_user_profile).
• Remembering dashboard tabs (fw_active_tab) for seamless navigation.
• Tracking registered workshops (fw_registered_workshops) to deliver direct meeting room access.

6. Student Data Rights & Profile Control

You retain full authority over your academic profile:

• Instant Updates: Edit your name, phone, USN, college, branch, semester, scheme, and CGPA directly in the Student Dashboard.
• Password Management: Update security credentials anytime via the Change Password page.
• Data Deletion: Request full erasure of your account, mentorship history, and submissions by submitting a support inquiry.
